Welcome to Feathered Oasis Aviary! We are a small in-home breeder of parakeets raising beloved feathered pets for families. We are located in Surprise, Arizona. We do a few select breedings each season, selecting pairs that love being parents, and have characteristics that will advance our line by creating healthy, sweet, and loving parakeets. We see ourselves as privileged to be stewards to these remarkable creatures who bring so much joy and wonder daily. At Feathered Oasis Aviary, we aim to find our parakeets loving homes where they will be well cared for and be a cherished family member.
Central to our breeding philosophy is our dedication to the breed and our flock. Each bird holds a special in our hearts and family. We have tremendous respect for these little guys and understand that the respect we show them creates the trust they place in us. When we breed them, we ensure it is the right time for them. That they have properly rested since the last breeding, they are in optimal health, and the pairing will not put them at risk of unnatural stress.
Our flock comprises 14 birds, 10 American Parakeets, and 4 Rosey Bourke. We hope to add Rosey Bourkes to our bird options when we find the right breeding pair. Learn more about Rosey Bourkes in our Blog.
For the health and safety of our birds, we are a closed aviary and cannot allow visitors. If you decide to get one of our babies, you may pick them up with a scheduled appointment once they are fully weaned.

It All Began with This Little Man
Juju joined our family in 2020, and we were instantly in love! Soon after, we started forming our flock. It became apparent that Juju would be the flock’s leader as each new member constantly followed him.
Now, each morning when the flock leaves there for the day, the boys immediately follow Juju to the top of one of the cages. There Juju proceeds to chatter, muttering Pretty Bird occasionally as his “men” listen intently to his daily pep talk. They love him so much and perch quietly, eyes fixed on Juju and grinding their breaks in contentment.
